Vail Park and Recreation District (VRD) voters elected incumbents Rick Sackbauer, Ken Wilson and Joe Hanlon today to serve as members of the VRD Board of Directors. Results are as follows:
Rick Sackbauer 359
Joe Hanlon 337
Ken Wilson 312
John Donovan 290

524 votes were casts, a 13.1 percent voter turnout with approximately 4,000 registered voters within the VRD.
All three will serve four year terms. Terms of remaining members Michelle Hall and Jeff Wiles will continue to the 2012 election.

Swearing-in ceremonies for the newly elected members will take place on May 13 during the VRD's regularly scheduled board meeting. At that time, a chairperson and secretary treasurer will be elected from among the board of directors and each will serve in the post for two years.
