Though snowy runs bring thousands of ski and snowboard enthusiasts to the Vail Valley each winter, residents and guests engage in many of other forms of year-round recreation. The Vail Recreation District’s mission is to implement events, programs and facilities which ensure and enhance these recreational endeavors. NEW! Parent’s Night Out: 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13
Vail Gymnastics Center
Parents treat themselves to a night out on the town while children ages 5 to 13 treat themselves to fun and games. Cost is $30 per child. Call 970-479-2287.

NEW! Indoor Archery: 6 -8 p.m. on Thursdays
Red Sandstone Elementary School Gymnasium
The program is open to all ages. Costs are $5 for a range fee and $5 for equipment rentals. Drop-ins are welcome. Call 970-479-2292.
