Vail Mountain's Views Won't be the Only Thing Taking Your Breath Away!
The 10@10 returns to its original route on Grand Traverse. The race starts 10,000 feet above sea level, on the beautiful Vail Mountain. Racers will be challenged as they traverse over Vail Mountain and across the legendary back bowls of Vail. The average grade of the 10K is 7 percent with an elevation gain of nearly 1,200 feet, while the shorter 5K is a tad less challenging and allows runners the chance to experience racing at an impressive altitude. Both courses provide incredible views of the Vail Valley, the Gore Range and the beauty of wildflowers in full bloom.
Participants - must load Gondola One no later than 7:30 a.m. to arrive at the start on time. Racers' bibs are your lift ticket to ride up, so don't forget to pick it up!
