As the off-season approaches, there will be some changes to the pickleball hours and programming.
As the off-season approaches, there will be some changes to the pickleball hours and programming. With outdoor facilities looking to open in April, we will no longer offer pickleball on the weekends. Avon, Eagle-Vail, Gypsum, and Sonnenalp are all on track to open in April. We will continue to offer reservations in the evenings, Tuesday through Thursday. Thanks for your understanding, and we look forward to getting back to playing outdoors again.
Indoor play takes place at Red Sandstone Elementary School in Vail during the winter months, typically November-May, weather-dependent. All reservations and drop-in play are for a 1.5-hour session. Please be mindful of the snow you track into the gym as it creates a hazard for players. We prefer you leave your daily shoes at the door and change into your court shoes on the stage. All players will be expected to sign in with their pass, or with the attendant on duty.
Only Vail residents can buy passes and make reservations. Non-Vail residents can play on a resident’s reservation for a fee of $10. Nonresidents can also join any of the drop-in play sessions for $10.
Court reservations must be made in advance at this link. Reservations can be made 7 days and 6 hours in advance of the time they want to reserve.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
- Session 1: 6:00-7:30 p.m. (reservations only)
- Session 2: 7:30-9:00 p.m. (reservations only)
Foursomes may only play one session; please do not exclude anybody who isn’t part of a group.
