U.S. Bank Ugly Sweater Fun Run

Date: Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023

Time: 8:30 a.m.

Location: The race will start and finish at Bart & Yeti's restaurant in Lionshead

Cost: Race entry is $7 plus a donation of food or an unwrapped, new toy for our partner charities Eagle Valley Community Foundation's The Community Market and a local toy drive. Please bring your donation to the registration area at the race start by Bart & Yeti's restaurant. Cash donations will also be accepted on race day if you don't bring a toy or food (suggested donation is $10). Click here for a list of food items that will be accepted. All entry fees will also be donated.

Registration: Please sign up in advance so we know how many people to expect! Day-of registration will also be available.

On Sunday, Dec. 10, grab your best and ugliest holiday sweater and join the Vail Recreation District for a fun-filled morning run through Vail Village while collecting donations for the The Community Market and a local toy drive spearheaded by Edwards Jones in Eagle to distribute to local families in need.

Sure to become a holiday tradition for the entire family, the 2023 U.S. Bank Ugly Sweater Fun Run is a non-competitive event that will start and finish at Bart and Yeti's in Lionshead beginning at 8:30 a.m. Choose from a 5K or one-mile run option. The race will be followed by an after-party at Bart & Yeti's with free breakfast burritos, breakfast beer, hot chocolate and raffle prizes!

Prizes will be awarded for best outfits by individuals, teams, dogs and kids. Santa Claus will be leading runners through town on a bike, and participants will encounter fun aid stations and challenges along the route.
We will have donation drop-off boxes at Dobson Ice Arena, the Imagination Station and the Vail Nordic Center in Vail. Additionally, all Edward Jones locations in Eagle County (Gypsum, Eagle, Edwards and Avon) will be collecting food and toys starting the week of Thanksgiving.

The 2023 Vail Ugly Sweater Fun Run is presented by The Steadman Clinic and US Bank with support from Eagle Valley Behavioral Health, Bart & Yeti's and the Vail Daily.
